Com-n-Sense has developed an advanced system that scans and sorts agricultural products on a conveyor belt.
The system can handle many types of agricultural products, ranging from small fruits and vegetables to their dimensions and quality and products that cannot be qualified without the use of advanced technology, such as Palm's quality.
AGRI-SPECTOR system can analyze the size, shape, differences between objects, physical changes from the model standards, color and other parameters or combinations as defined by the client.
Action occurs when the complex optical and tactile equipment (cameras, laser range sensors) positioned above the conveyor belt in a strategic point, transfers in real time a huge amount of optical and other data of the agricultural product on the existing conveyor belt without the need of any alteration.
A computer runs a Com-n-sense unique software platform that allows extensions of broad functionality and interfacing with sensors of all kinds. The CMNS platform allows the factory to expand the actions performed on the same conveyor, shorten processes and significantly improve cost effectiveness.
Action is performed precisely by mechanical devices, electronic or hydraulic (pistons, levers, motors etc.) that are correlated with the location of the object on the track.
All Com-n-sense equipment and systems have been tested to work in extremely harsh environmental conditions including high temperature, steam, chemicals, dust and more.
