Com-N-Sense developed a system that makes using machine vision in extreme and dynamic industrial environment possible.

The system is divided into two main components:

  • imaging unit which enables quality imaging in challenging conditions such as: dust, heat and moisture.
  • centralized processing and control software which by means of image/video processing allows for raw material inspection, problem detection in production process, quality sorting and control of products. The control software contains a wide variety of options such as: color and size analysis and classification, foreign bodies detection, also the software platform allow adding customized algorithms and parameters to clients demand.

How does it works

The imaging unit, equipped with sensory or imaging components, is installed at a strategic location in the product process, the unit transfers the relevant information to control software, it is analyzed by various parameters, displayed to the operator and translated into decisions and actions according to user supplied rules, thresholds and parameters.

Com-N-Sense's system integrates into existing industrial control systems through popular interfaces such as MODBUS TCP and others.
